Tbilisi:Â The graduate class student will go through a four-month paid internship. The decision was made at the initiative of the Prime Minister of Georgia, Irakli Kobakhidze.
The students will have to go for the internship starting September 2024. They will have the opportunity to complete the paid internship in state institutions. Interested students in graduate classes must submit their duly filled applications. The application start date is August 2, but interested students can submit their applications up to August 8, 2024.
It should be added that the selection competition for graduates will be carried out in two stages. The first stage will involve receiving and selecting applications. After the application is received  the second stage involves interviewing candidates. Moreover the candidates who clear the interview will have the chance to take advantage of paid internships at state institutions.
According to the information  after the due process  more than 3000 young people will be identified  to whom the state internship program will give an opportunity to undergo an internship in the desired region and public agency. It is to be mentioned explicitly that the  Students of authorized higher education institutions in Georgia who are studying at the first level of higher education (in the case of the graduating academic year) will be eligible to participate in the event.
Moreover students who are studying at the second level or have completed the first or second level of higher education in the spring semester of the 2023-2024 academic year will also be able to participate in the program. The information about the paid internship was shared on the official Facebook of GD Youth. The students are very excited to learn about this opportunity.
