Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze visited a public school in Zestafoni municipality of Imereti. He was accompanied by the minister of education, science and Youth Aleksandre Tsuladze and State Governor of Imereti Levan Zalkaliani.
While taking to official Facebook page of Imereti’s administrations informed, “Today Prime Minister along with other officials and politicians visited the fully rehabilitated Public School No. 4 in the city of Zestaponi. The PM and other member of this visiting delegation on this occasion got themselves acquainted with the renovated infrastructure.”
The work of school’s rehabilitation was carried out by the LEPL Educational and Scientific Infrastructure Development Agency. The agency is working for improvement of school education under the Ministry of Education, Science and Youth. The agency also executing many developmental projects with the support of the Government of Georgia.
The school building has been fully rehabilitated with a total amount of 6,227,659.74 GEL. The school building can accommodate approximately 1,040 students. In addition to the educational spaces, the school has been equipped with natural science laboratories which are equipped with all latest equipment’s and computer laboratories, sports and assembly halls.
In addition, a library, a canteen, a doctor’s office and a resource room are well-equipped. The building is fully compliant with international standards and adapted for people with disabilities.
To made school building fully accessible an elevator, sanitary facilities and a ramp have been installed. The school’s outdoor space and sports field were also renovated as part of the infrastructure project.
During his visit PM expressed his happiness over well-designed school infrastructure which has all modern-day facilities. Prime Minister and other members of this visiting delegation also inspected room and other facilities arranges inside building.
The glimpses of inside and outside of building also shows building is very beautifully finished. PM while concluding his visit reiterated stand of Government to provide world class educational facilities in all regions of countries. He called school children assets for a developed Georgia.
