Ambrolauri, Georgia: In the administrative unit of Nikortsminda, from 2012 to now, the Municipality of Ambrolauri has been working together on infrastructure projects financed from the local and state budgets.
The Municipality of Ambrolauri deeply values the public’s support and participation, which has been instrumental in these endeavors. Your contributions have been integral to the success of these projects.
Come to fruition:
- Road infrastructure – 20 326 089 GEL;
- Water systems – 609 618 GEL;
- Tourist infrastructure – 52 598 GEL;
- Rehabilitation of Nikortsminda Center – 2 200 000 GEL;
- Saritual infrastructure – 59 781 GEL;
- Rehabilitation of kindergarten building – 44 160 GEL;
Especially important among the projects implemented are the rehabilitation of Nikortsminda Cathedral and the surrounding area, within which the Nikortsminda Central Square was equipped, the access roads to the temple, the construction of tourist facilities, and the external facades of the nearby buildings were rehabilitated. Restoration of the facade stone, bell, and wall painting of the temple was carried out.
In addition to this:
- Nikortsminda’s outpatient hospital has been rehabilitated.
- The sports field was set up in the village of Nikortsminda.
- The roof of Nikortsminda Public School was rehabilitated.
- A water supply system was set up in the Dvlebi district, village of Kachaeti.
- Road rehabilitation was carried out in the village of Kachaeti; asphalt pavement was laid for 3 km within the project
- 26 km road connecting Chrebalo-Nikortsminda asphalting has been implemented, costing – 18 494 000. As a result of this project, eight villages of the municipality benefit from furnished motorways
- In the village Nikortsminda, road asphalting and concrete laying were done in Jmukhadzebi and Shkhro district.
Ongoing projects:
- In the village Nikortsminda, in the Dokhnadze district, the second row of asphalting works on a rural road
- Rehabilitation works of the existing pumping station of the water supply system in the village of Nikortsminda.
