Tbilisi, Georgia: The “Institute of Nationalism and Conflict Research” (ISNC), in collaboration with “Caucasian House” and the Levan Mikeladze Foundation, showcased a presentation related to the transformation of the Georgian conflict at the Radisson Blu Iveria Hotel in Tbilisi on February 18, 2025, Tuesday.
The mentioned administrations also talked about the conflict transformation in Georgia at the occasion at the Hotel in Tbilisi.
The Study of Nationalism and Conflict – Isnc shared glimpses of the event on its Official Facebook page on February 20, 2025. Along with the snippets of the event, it also mentioned some details related to the occasion.
The event featured a public opinion survey “Conflict in Georgia: Perceptions, Attitudes and Expectations”, conducted by CRRC Georgia with the participation of more than 2000 respondents from across Georgia.
Notably, the study analyzed the attitudes of societies to current conflicts, perceptions, and expectations for the future.
In parallel, the action plan for conflict transformation was presented, which is based on the document “Conflict Transformation Vision” and includes concrete steps to support peace and conflict transformation in Georgia.
It is noteworthy that the guests of the presentation discussed the results of the research and the challenges and opportunities in Georgia towards the transformation of conflicts.
Public opinion research and action plans are prepared within the framework of the project – “Transformation of conflicts in Georgia: Preparing for Changes” -. The project, which is being implemented by the Institute for Nationalism and Conflict Research, in partnership with the “Caucasian House” and the Levan Mikeladze Foundation, is funded by the United Kingdom and the United Nations Development Programme (UK-SSP).
According to the details shared by the Study of Nationalism and Conflict – Isnc, it should be noted that the project based on comprehensive and reliable research, aims to determine the attitudes of society towards conflict and to identify concrete steps based on research results for the peaceful transformation of conflicts.
It is to be added that these types of initiatives reflect a concerted effort by these organizations to foster dialogue and develop strategies for the peaceful transformation of conflicts in Georgia.
