Georgia: The second session of the Inter-Agency Commission for Free and Fair Elections was held. The inter-agency Commission, a crucial entity established in accordance with the Election Code, plays a pivotal role in preventing and responding to violations of election laws by public servants.
Under the esteemed leadership of Minister of Justice Rati Bregadze, the Commission’s work is of utmost importance.
The second session of the inter-agency Commission was devoted to demonstrating election technologies. CESCO representatives demonstrated the use of electronic technologies in the voting process. In addition, the meeting discussed information disseminated in monitoring the election environment.
For information, at the previous meeting, the committee members heard the report of the State Service Development Agency on the work done to complete the electoral lists.
Our collective efforts in monitoring the electoral environment have yielded significant progress. The Inter-Agency Commission, through its diligent work, has been able to study the information provided by political unions and monitoring organizations in the media, respond to incidents that have occurred, and contribute to ensuring a free and fair electoral environment.

The Commission’s meeting was led by the Commission’s chairman, Minister of Justice Rati Bregadze. Members of the Commission participated in its work – Justice, Internal Affairs, Foreign Affairs, Finance, Defense; Regional Development and Infrastructure; Education, Science, and Youth; Deputy Ministers of Refugees, Labor, Health, and Social Protection, as well as the Prosecutor General’s Office, Special Investigation Service, State Security Khuri, Tbilisi Municipality Hall, State Audit Service, Central Election Commission, The people in charge.
The inter-agency Commission, unwavering in its commitment, will continue its crucial work until CESCO officially publishes the final results of the elections. Our dedication to this cause remains steadfast.
