Irakli Kuprava appoints as Educational and Scientific Infrastructure Development Agency director

Irakli Kuprava was appointed as the director of the SP Educational and Scientific Infrastructure Development Agency of the Ministry of Education, Science and Youth of Georgia.

Georgia: Irakli Kuprava was appointed as the director of the SP Educational and Scientific Infrastructure Development Agency of the Ministry of Education, Science and Youth of Georgia.

Georgian Minister of Education, Science and Youth Giorgi Amilakhvar introduced the new head and deputy, Levan Mushkudiani, to the employees of the Agency at a working meeting.

The Minister expressed his gratitude to the former agency leadership for their dedicated service and wished the new director good luck in the future.

As Giorgi Amilakhvar noted at the meeting, several large-scale infrastructure projects are underway today, and the Agency has the most critical implementation function.

The Minister instructed the renewed management of the Agency for the Development of Educational and Scientific Infrastructure to implement procedure control of the quality and deadlines of the implementation of infrastructure projects with maximum supervision to ensure the quality completion of projects provided on time and children in schools that are infrastructure managed according to European standards Unity.

Deputy Minister of Education, Science and Youth Gela Geladze was also present at the meeting, signifying the importance of the Agency’s mission.

Kuprava brings a wealth of experience from the construction sector, having worked in various capacities in both public and private domains. His expertise is expected to drive the Agency’s pursuit of excellence in educational and scientific infrastructure development.

It is noteworthy that Irakli Kuprava has many years of experience working in the construction sector, having worked in both the public and private sectors at different times. His newly appointed deputy, Levan Mushkudiani, has 19 years of experience in the construction sector. 

The educational community and stakeholders have welcomed this development, anticipating robust growth and innovation in Georgia’s academic infrastructure.
