Georgia: The International Conference of Physics Students (ICPS 2024) at Kakha Bendukidze Campus, also known as the free university, is honored to have Gia Dvali, a leading theoretical physicist, deliver a lecture and Zurab Guguchi, a distinguished scientist in material science, conduct a scientific workshop.
Gia Dvali is a Georgian theoretical physicist. He is a professor of theoretical physics at the Ludwig Maximilian University of Munich and director of the Max Plank Institute of Physics in Munich. He holds a silver professorship at New York University. His research interests include string theory, additional dimensions, quantum gravity, and the early universe. Dvali is considered one of the world’s leading experts in particle physics.
Zurab Guguchia is a Georgian scientist currently working in Switzerland. His field of research is mainly material science. His studies and publications on subways, magnetism, and several other topics have won him many prestigious awards in Switzerland and Georgia.
