The remains of this victim have been transferred to Georgia after the consistent efforts of the Georgian government with the help of regional and international agencies working in the field of human rights as well.
During the conflict the occupied force of the Federation of Russia captured a major piece of the Georgian land. Large-scale human rights violations are still being reported here . Recently the public defender of Georgia raised the issue of human rights violations in Russian-occupied territories. The office urged the Government to take all the measures to protect the rights of all the people living in these areas.
