Khashuri, Georgia: The Khashuri Municipality is actively progressing in its efforts to enhance local recreational spaces. The Mayor, Tengiz Chitiashvili, recently inspected ongoing projects in the village of Tezer and the town of Khashuri, where new mini stadiums and squares are emerging on the sites of former plantations.
“Mini stadium and square will be arranged by modern standards, recreational chairs, lights, trash bins will be finished. Special attention will be paid to green facilities, panchayat will be arranged, and children’s attractions and trainers will be installed. Overall, it will create a space that will meet the needs of residents of all ages. We want to arrange as much recreational and sports space as possible in Khashuri Municipality,”- noted Tengiz Chitiashvili.
A significant emphasis is being placed on green facilities, including the arrangement of panchayats and the installation of children’s attractions and fitness trainers. The Mayor highlighted the importance of these spaces for relaxation and enjoyment, particularly for young children, who will benefit from attractions that adhere to appropriate safety standards.
The development of the mini stadium and square in Khashuri is financed by the local budget, with an allocated cost of 354,300 GEL. Similarly, the construction in the village of Tezer is also funded locally, with the project costing 328,500 GEL.
“We are implementing the project in the interests of the population. The square will allow residents to have fun and relax. This place will be especially liked by the little ones because there will be children’s attractions arranged with appropriate standards. Benches will be installed in the lounge, planking, and outdoor lighting, the area will be tiled, and there will be green spaces. We care about promoting a healthy lifestyle. , Mini stadium and outdoor training machines will serve exactly this purpose “- Tengiz Chitiashvili noted while inspecting the works.
