The administration of the Khashuri municipality shared information about the various projects being executed by it. The main projects that will be covered related to the water and wastewater in the city.
While taking to its social media handles the city hall posted on its Facebook page that “In the recent period a number of citizens approached to the Khashuri Municipality City Hall with questions related to the progress of the water and wastewater project in the city, they raised their question during the public meetings or through the social network. In particular citizens express concern that the arrangement of the water (sewerage) network will benefit only the central part of the city and the rest of the areas will remain without the sewerage network.”
It added “To avoid uncertainty we would like to inform the population that depending on the scale of the project it is divided into several lots. In the first stage the water supply network will be made everywhere and the water supply network will be organized in the central part of the city on a priority basis.”
The lots will provided for the construction of the main building and the arrangement of the water supply network in the rest of the city. It was necessary to approve money for the mentioned works. These funds have been sought and the project implementation is not in danger in the city.
According to the municipality they received information directly from the persons involved in the project and from the workers or supervisors. Moreover the persons involved in the work are responsible only for the performance of the part they are responsible for.
The tender for the works provided by each lot is declared separately where the winner of the tender may be the company that is still carrying out the works or some other company. The progress of work will not be interrupted by this.
