Georgia: The educational-scientific project of the Caucasus International University (CIU) Multimedia Center, a significant initiative titled “From Kavli to Mtatsminda on the motives of Guram Sharadze,” was handed over to the school principals of Khoni municipality, underlining its importance and potential impact.
The cycle of documentaries consisting of 28 series was handed over to the representatives of the educational sector by the CIU Chancellor, Vakhtang Tsivtsivadze. Teachers will use media resources to teach Georgian history and literature.
The meeting, a collaborative effort, was attended by the directors, the mayor of Khoni municipality Lado Jurkhadze, and representatives of the society “Khoneli”. Vakhtang Tsivtsivadze presented the university vision, acknowledging the integral role of the audience in the project’s success.
According to the Chancellor, the implementation of such a project by higher education will significantly contribute to the development of national values, underlining the importance of the initiative.
The Chancellor’s Advisor, Head of Multimedia Center, Nino Chalaganidze introduced other educational projects to the public. The Deputy Head of Multimedia Center Sulkhan Meladze then elaborated on the advantages of using the educational-scientific media resource, such as its ability to engage students, provide visual aids for complex topics, and offer a more interactive learning experience, thereby enhancing the learning process.
At the end of the meeting, the audience watched the documentary “Date with Life.” Another work of the Multimedia Center chronologically shows important moments of Vakhtang Tsivtsivadze’s life. In addition, the audience gets the opportunity to learn in detail about the history, development stages, and achievements of the Caucasus International University.
