Adjara: A special event for kids was held in Batumi Technological Museum. The event was a fancy-dress competition in which many little kids participated and expressed their dressing skills.
The special event took place on Friday, November 15. It was held at the Batumi Technological Museum named after the Nobel brothers. Both public and private school students from Batumi kindergarten participated in this event.
The director of the Adjara Museum, Teona Zoidze and the manager of the Nobel Brothers Museum, Medea Charkviani talked to the children about the unique world of Astrid Lindgren.
Similarly the museum specialist Maya Makaradze told the children about the life of the world’s most famous children’s writer, his creativity and his amazing characters in the form of a presentation.
It is worth noting that on this occasion, the honored worker of Adjara the only nominee of the 2016 Astrid Lindgren International Award in Georgia, Ms Inga Gogiberidze, read the most interesting episodes from the writer’s work to the little visitors.
Astrid Lindgren is the most beloved children’s writer in Georgia. That’s why the children talked with amazing love about their favorite book and famous characters, including Pepi Longstocking, Carlson, Emily and others.
It is also worth noting that Astrid Lindgren’s works have been translated into 91 languages ​​and published in more than 100 countries. He is recognized as one of the best children’s authors and is known for the most popular stories namely “Peppy Longstocking,””The Boy and the Roof Dweller Carlson” and “Children from the Noisy Village.”
Children participated with joy and emotion in guessing quizzes on different aspects of a writer’s life, which once again convinced all that the creativity left by the writer is immortal. At the end of the event, the children tasted the favorite sweets of Astrid’s characters.
They revealed   that every year, they will be happy to participate in the costumed performance of the inimitable writer memory which is called Astridoba. The kids who participated in the event were very happy. Some parents were also present and they expressed their gratitude to the event organizers.
