Tbilisi, Georgia: The Minister of Education, Science and Youth of Georgia, Aleksandre Tsuladze, together with the State Governor of Kvemo Kartli, Giorgi Dokhturishvili, opened two newly rehabilitated public schools in the region with modern facilities.
The delegates congratulated the students and teachers on continuing their studies in a better environment. Moreover, Kvemo Kartli Region shared glimpses of the new public school in the form of a video on its official Facebook account on 7 April, 2025.
During the opening ceremony, the Governor and the Minister, together with the Mayor of Gardabani Municipality, Davit Kargareteli, and the Acting Mayor of Bolnisi Municipality, Buba Gobejishvili, got acquainted with the renovated infrastructure.
They also introduced the educational process in the third public school of Bolnisi city and the village of Akhali Samgori of Gardabani Municipality. The third public school of Bolnisi city is designed for 210 students and the total cost of the project is up to 3 million GEL.
Meanwhile, the public school of Akhali Samgori village of Gardabani Municipality is designed for 440 students and the total cost of the project is up to 3 million GEL.
It is to be noted that in both public schools, in addition to the teaching spaces, there are science and computer laboratories, a library, sports and assembly halls, a doctor’s office and a resource room. The schools are adapted for people with disabilities: an elevator, adapted sanitary facilities and a ramp are installed.
The complete rehabilitation and equipping of the public schools was carried out by the LEPL Educational and Scientific Infrastructure Development Agency.

The opening of the school was also attended by the Deputy Minister of Education, Science and Youth of Georgia, Giorgi Jincharadze; the Deputy State Representative of Kvemo Kartli, Ilia Jalaghania, the Chairman of the Gardabani Municipality Sakrebulo, Mikheil Gedekhauri and the Head of the Educational and Scientific Infrastructure Development Agency, Irakli Kuprava.
