Mtirala National Park held a lecture to make the general public and youth of area aware of the importance of waste management. The young school students from the locality who are also members of the eco-club Equilibrium also cleaned the area.
The park administration held the lecture on September 27. It was part of the international environmental activity “Clean up the world!” week. The employees of the National Park administration gave a lecture on waste management to the members of the eco-club Equilibrium. They gathered at the public school of the village of Chaisubani.
The attendees of the event also participated in the poster-making process. Here students prepared posters based on the theme of waste management. After the meeting, the participants cleaned the school yard and the surrounding area as part of the cleaning campaign as well.
