It is noteworthy that this year marks the 30th anniversary of the Georgia National Guard’s state partnership with the country of Georgia and the delegation mainly visited Tbilisi to attend this occasion.
According to the details provided by the Ministry of Defense, it should be noted that the parties discussed the development of cooperation between Georgia and the USA in the field of defense.
Furthermore, Lieutenant General Giorgi Matiashvili expressed his warm gratitude towards Major General Richard Wilson and thanked him for his practical support from the USA.
The conversation was about the program – “Partnership between countries“, as well as the issue of the participation of Georgian and American soldiers in multinational training.
