Pasha Gulordava, the Mayor of the Martvili Municipality’s deputy Mayor Givi Eliava honoured the winners of competition “New World”. He was accompanied by the Head of the Department of Culture and the Martvili Educational Resource Centre Pasha Gulordava.
All the visitors have met with the winners of the student creative competition “New World” and congratulated them and extend best wishes. The Municipality shared this information on the social media handles as well.
The official Facebook page of the University stated that, “At the meeting winning and successful participants of the competition which includes the names of Ani Rokhvadze, Nata Gabunia, Barbare Gatserelia, Nino Dzadzamia and Anastasia Tsotsoria were congratulated on their success and presented with symbolic sachuri. The meeting was also attended by Ilia Erkvania, founder of the Literary Festival “Kuji”.”
It is worth to note that the, “In the city of Zugdidi, a student creative competition “New World” was held under the organization of the Literary Festival “Kuji”. The competition was held for the first time this year and students from almost all municipalities of Samegrelo participated in it.
Moreover, within the framework of the competition, the participants presented views on free topics. The jury identified the winners.”
The first place was taken by Ani Rokhvadze a student of the Martvili private school “Shqivi” and the second place was taken by Nata Gbunia, a student of the Bandzi public school. The winners were awarded with diplomas, souvenirs and cash prizes.
The bilingual (Georgian – Megrelian) “The Knight in the Tiger’s Skin” published by the Charitable Foundation “Khareba” was awarded to Ani Rokhvadze. The best works will be published in the annual magazine of the Literary Festival “Kuji”.
The co-organizers of the mentioned project were includes the names of Samegrelo – Zemo Svaneti Regional Organization of the Creative Union of Writers and the Educational Center “Mamuli, Ena, Sakhirvoeba”.
It is worth to note that Municipality have awarded many winners in past years also. The visitors said in future more efforts will be taken to encourage students as well.
