Maya Khajishvili Adjara’s Minister of Education, Culture, and Sports visted the construction site of a school at the Zemo Tsensvli public school. During his visit to the construction site, the Minister was accompanied by first deputy minister Jemal Surmanidze.
It is worth noting that the construction of an additional building and the complete rehabilitation of the existing building is underway at the Zemo Tsensvli public school. The newly constructed school building will have 14 classrooms, sports grounds, and morning prayer cum assembly halls.
The building will also have a computer classes, appropriately adapted bathrooms and a landscaping yard. The total cost of the project is 1,970,000 GEL. Similarly complete rehabilitation works are underway in the public school of Agari village and the yard’s improvement work is also underway. The project cost here is 1,423,000 GEL.
It is also to be added that until the work is completed the educational process will continue in the schools of the nearby villages during the second shift and the Ministry will provide transportation. The steps have been taken to minimize any loss to the students so they can continue their studies without any hurdles.
The minister and other delegation members inspected the site plans at the school’s construction site. They also interacted with the construction’s company representative to complete work within the stipulated time period. On the other hand the company’s representative was also apprised of the various aspects of the ongoing project.
They assure the government representative that the company will complete the work soon. The company’s workers have already constructed the foundation with concrete. The company has engaged many workers to complete the school construction early to resume academic activities as well.
The local people thanked the government representative saying that this would benefit the local students and solve the problems of local school children who faced multiple problems. Social media users also reacted to the Facebook post. They lauded the government’s efforts to provide students with world-class educational facilities.
