The Mikheil Meskhi sports stadium administration has completed all the arrangements for the live streaming of Georgia-Turkey match scheduled to be held today. The match is being held under the European Championship in Germany. The Mayor of Tbilisi, Kakaha Kaladze visited the stadium on Monday to take stock of all the arrangements.
The Mayor of Tbilisi Kakha Kaladze, was accompanied by the head of the city service of Culture, education, sports, and Youth Affairs, Irakli Ghilava during his visit to the stadium. Six large screens were installed to make the experience wonderful for the audience. Besides this a well-established food court is there for the people visiting to sample the multi-cuisine at the venue as well.
After the visit the Mayor said ” The day of the Georgia-Turkey match is the big day. This is the day that Georgian fans have been waiting for a long time. The boys of our national team have given us great joy by going to the European Championship. Moreover, it was the dream of every Georgian fan that our national team would get to the European or World Championship at least once and finally today we have the opportunity to do so.”
Mayor further added “ We should celebrate this moment together, let’s cheer for the national team together tomorrow. I want to wish the boys good luck for the victory at this important championship. The decision to live stream the match at the Mikheil Meskhi Stadium was taken together with the Football Federation. This will help the Georgian fans who stayed in Georgia and could not travel to Germany to enjoy the match; now, they will have the opportunity to watch the live broadcast of the match between Georgia and Turkey tomorrow at the Mikheil Meskhi Stadium.”
According to the mayor the installation of the large screen will create a pleasant environment; due to the establishment of the the catering facilities outside the stadium, people will enjoy the match while tasting their favorite food. This will be quite comfortable for all of of us to support the Georgian national team. Once again, I want to wish success and victories to our boys.
