Georgia: The Minister of Education, Science and Youth of Georgia Alexander Tsuladze held a working meeting with the delegation of Milli Mejlis of the Republic of Azerbaijan. Notably, the delegation of the Milli Mejlis refers to a group of parliamentarians from the unicameral parliament of Azerbaijan, also known as the Milli Majlis.Â
The Ministry of Education, Science, and Youth of Georgia posted glimpses of the meeting on its official Facebook page on June 4, 2025, Wednesday. The Ministry also shared a small note along with the photographs.
According to the note shared by the Georgian Education Ministry, it should be noted that at the working meeting, the parties discussed issues and plans to strengthen further cooperation in education and science between the two countries.
Alexander Tsuladze discussed with the members of the delegation the issue of the involvement of Georgian and Azerbaijani experts in the process of improving Azerbaijani-language textbooks. The Azerbaijani side welcomed this initiative and expressed readiness to deepen partnership in this direction.
The conservation also touched upon the bilateral relations between both countries. The meeting focused on fostering their relationship and boosting collaboration.
Furthermore, the delegation of the Azerbaijani Legislative Body, including the Chairman of the Science and Education Committee Anar Iskandarov, the Chairman of the Committee on Defense, Security and Fight against Corruption, Head of the Azerbaijan-Georgian Parliamentary Friendship Group Arzu Nagiev, and the Chairman of the Youth and Sports Committee Shahin Ismailov, are on a two-day working visit to Georgia. They are getting enough of it.
The meeting with the parliamentary delegation of the Republic of Azerbaijan was attended by various other ministers. They are:
- the Deputy Minister of Education, Science, and Youth of Georgia Baia Kvitsiani,
- the Ambassador Plenipotentiary and Emergency Sensei of the Republic of Azerbaijan in Georgia Faig Guliev,
- the Advisor of the Embassy of the Republic of Kazakhstan in Georgia Kamal Khalilov,
- the Second Secretary of the Embassy of Azerbaijan in Georgia Ramiz Hajizada.
