Giorgi Amilakhvari, Georgia’s minister of education, science, and research, attended the recently held festival “Studfest 2024.” The minister also awarded prizes to the winners of the festival.
Minister Giorgi Amilakhvari taking to his social media handles shared glimpses of the event. The minister stated on his official Facebook page “ We awarded the winners of the large-scale youth festival Studfest 2024. I am glad that many students participated in the festival and we gave them the opportunity to engage in a variety of fun, educational, cultural, sports, and entertainment activities.”
The minister further added “ I believe that by organizing such events for young people student life will become even more cheerful and interesting, which is the most important priority for us. I am proud that this year we have about 700 winning students whose award ceremony coincided with the historic victory of the Georgian football team against Portugal on Wednesday. Once again, I congratulate all of Georgia on this important event.”
The minister speaking specifically on the occasion added “I want to congratulate the students participating in the festival with all my heart and wish them success and progress in their life paths. We actively continue to work on the development of youth policy and will gradually expand Studfest and other youth initiatives and services.”
On the event site a big stage was arranged. A huge number of people attended the event with their children and family members to enjoy the performers’ performances as well. The attendees also took photos of the event to preserve them as a living memory of the festival. They sat in open spaces too. Many musical performances were given by solo and group performers.
It is also worth noting that the Minister also posed for pictures with the participants of the event. He also had a constructive introduction with the students and motivated them to make the efforts for hard work in their lives so they could achieve their desires of success as well. On the other hand the social media users also appreciated the event and laud the Minister for encouraging the students to work hard in life.
