Mtskheti Municipality, Georgia: By the decision of Mtskheti Municipality City Hall, Mtskheta Municipal Transport served to each citizen free of charge from January 1, 2024. But now citizens should have the travel plastic card for travelling.
The cost of traveling by for travelling otherwise p municipal transport (Mtskheta-Tbilisi) is determined by 1.70 GEL, and the settlement of “Narekavi” – Farnavaz Square – in the direction of Armazi (circular) is determined by 50 Tetri.
From March 1, 2024, address Mtskheta Municipality City Hall and/or s. S. TBC to the bank. According to the relevant categories, to obtain a plastic card for traveling by vehicle, otherwise appropriate penalties will be applied for not having a plastic card.
To receive travel plastic cards, contact TBC Bank Mtskheti branch, with the following categories of persons:
- Pupils of public and private schools within the administrative boundaries of Mtskheta Municipality; (with legal representative, with proof of birth certificate).
- Students of higher and professional educational institutions registered in Mtskheta Municipality and others. (with proof of identity)
To be able to travel with the stipulated concessions, apply to the Mtskheta Municipality City Hall to prepare appropriate recreational plastic cards, by the following categories of persons:
- Beneficiaries of A(A)IP “Mtskheta free dinner for the disabled;
- Pensioners registered in Mtskheta Municipality defined by Georgian law;
- Persons with disabilities registered in Mtskheta Municipality;
- Persons with marchenald lost status registered in Mtskheta municipality;
- Socially vulnerable families registered in Mtskheta Municipality;
- Veterans of war and defense forces registered in Mtskheta municipality;
Persons who are not registered but permanently reside in Mtskheta Municipality are entitled to benefits, as confirmed by a notice issued by the Mayor’s representative in the administrative unit.
The people who benefit from the preferential fare will be issued/recovered a travel plastic card based on their address to an authorized entity.
An identification document must be presented to receive a plastic card issued to benefit from the reduced fare. Mtskheta Municipality City Hall wishes everyone a safe and comfortable journey.
