Mtskheti Municipality, Georgia: The Georgian Government decided to add a new recreational Space in the village Dzego of Mtskheti municipality, near the buildings. The demand to arrange a park had been heard often from locals, but the there was no possibility of doing so until now.
The Mayor of Mtskheti Municipality, Dimitri Zurabishvili shared the information about the recreational space, on her official Facebook page on February 3, 2025, Monday. Along with the information, he also shared glimpses of the visual representation of the new recreational area which will be built in the Mtskheti Municipality.

According to the information, shared by the Mtskheti Municipality’s Mayor, it should be noted that considerable investment has been allocated for the project and preparatory works will start soon. The construction will be completed by the end of 2025 and the villagers will be able to enjoy wonderful recreational area, equipped with modern standards.
The visual representation of the recreational space was created by taking children’s and recreation areas into account. It is also worth noting that, a new recreational area with the best requirements for recreation and entertainment for people of any age will be created.
The new recreational space includes children’s entertainment, sports, and recreation spaces. As the recreational area will be constructed in a village, the square will house a panchayat also along with the tennis table and children’s entertainment attractions.
The surrounding area of the area will be covered with rubber cover for safety purposes. Benches, trash bins, decorative lanterns, and water mushrooms will be installed and Ornamental trees will be planted.
It was also mentioned that the pavement will be laid on the road and the square will be fenced with iron construction. The construction works are financed from the local budget and are implemented by the contractor company “Service 2015” Ltd.
The information about the new recreational space was also shared by Mtskheti municipality on the official Facebook page. The residents of the municipality as well as social media users appreciated the mayor for this unique initiative.
