Tbilisi: Maya Omiadze, the head of the National Tourism Administration of Georgia held a meeting with a media delegation from China. The Chinese delegation includes the Camera Crew of CCTV (China Central Television). They are visiting Georgia to shoot about the country’s tourism potential.
The National Tourism Administration used to host international media house members and social media influencers who shoot videos, vlogs, and small documentaries about the tourist attractions of Georgia. This is the strategy adopted by Georgia to attract the maximum number of international tourists.
During this meeting Maya Omiadze explained the tourist directions to Georgia to the CCTV journalist. The Chinese delegation includes the seven-person. The China Central Television is the highest-rated channel in the world.
While speaking about the tourism attraction, Maya Omiadze added “ Today we have received the representative of the world’s top channel CCTV from China . They will shoot and broadcast information about Georgia as well as its tourism potential in the Chinese and English languages.
On this occasion the members of the channel CCTV representatives received information about tourism products, attractions, Georgian culture, and wine. Georgia is called the homeland of the wines, so the CCTV crew will also focus on Georgia wine.
A total of five parts of the documentary will be broadcasted throughout the year on CCTV, social networks and online platforms which will provide a big boost to Georgian tourism at the international level as well.
These members of the International media also visited the capital city, Tbilisi as well as Kakheti, Imereti, Samegrelo, and Adjara. On the other hand CCTV producer Lihuan Tsai while talking about the visit said that we are there to shoot the tourist attractions of Georgia.
This will increase the Chinese tourists’ interest in Georgia’s beautiful tourist destination. According to CCTV producer Lihuan Tsai this will also promote the arrival of more Chinese visitors to Georgia. CCTV has a worldwide presence with an audience of more than 1.2 billion.
