Cereulide is a bug-causing toxin produced by some strains of Bacillus cereus. If a child eats food contaminated with this toxin, the symptoms may include diarrhea, weakness, and fatigue. Symptoms usually fade from 30 minutes to 6 hours after contact, disappearing within 24 hours.

In European countries, after receiving this product, children have not been admitted to a medical facility.

For information, when taking the above-mentioned food, including these symptoms, it is advisable to contact a pediatrician, who will determine treatment or supervision as needed.

It is noted that the market is only required for certain parties, which, according to the company’s assessment, may contain potential risks. The demand from the market does not apply to other parties’ products and other baby food products, which Nestlé represents in Georgia.

Nestle Georgia” immediately informed the National Food Agency and expressed readiness for cooperation. The process of identifying and removing parties is ongoing.
