Tbilisi, Georgia: The students and teachers of the 211th Public School of Tbilisi started the new academic year. The new session began in building equipped with modern standards on October 8, 2024.
The Minister of Education, Science and Youth of Georgia, Aleksandre Tsuladze visited the newly rehabilitated school, got acquainted with the renewed infrastructure and met with the students and teachers.
According to Aleksandre Tsuladze, the Ministry’s top priority is to support the meaningful development of schools and to upskill teachers, in parallel with improving school infrastructure throughout the country.
As the minister noted, public school construction/rehabilitation works will be completed by the end of the current year with the Ministry’s financial support.
Along with the minister, Georgian Deputy Minister of Education, Science and Youth Gela Geladze, Chairman of Tbilisi City Council Giorgi Tkemaladze, Deputy Chairman Zurab Abashidze, Chairman of Education and Culture Commission Kakhaber Labuchidze, Mtatsminda District Leader David Kirkitadze, Mtatsmindeda-Krtsanisi Majoritarian MP Beka Odisha visited the newly rehabilitated school Ria, Member of Parliament of Georgia David Kacharava and SP Educational and Head of Scientific Infrastructure Development Agency Irakli Kuprava.
211th Public School in Tbilisi is an educational institution that provides quality education in various languages, including Georgian, Russian, Ukrainian, and English. The school offers educational opportunities for children and adolescents in Tbilisi.Â
Reinforcement of the 211th Public School of Tbilisi / Full Rehabilitation Project of the Ministry of Education, Science and Youth, the Ministry of Education and Scientific Infrastructure Development Agency of the Ministry of Science and Youth, regarding the facilities of recreational space, yard and outdoor sports field, the mentioned infrastructural works were implemented with the financial support of the Mtatsminda District Board.
The school building has 350 pupils and functions on site: study spaces, science and computer labs, library, resource room, doctor’s office, gym and playground. Srulada is a school adapted for pupils with special educational needs.
