Rustavi City Hall launches a new educational cum sports project. This is aimed to provide world class education and sports infrastructure in city.
At the day of launching this project a event was arranged. This special event was also attended by the Mayor of Rustavi city hall as well.
The information along with glimpses of this special occasion was also shared on the social media handles. The official Facebook page of municipality said that “A weekend school will be opened at the Sports and Educational Museum in the Sports Palace, where 10-16 year old athletes will receive theoretical knowledge in various sports.”
The information disclosed on the social media handles also added that,” Lectures will be given to them by lecturers from the Georgian State University of Sports. Coaches will also undergo a special course, which will contribute to the introduction of modern approaches in sports schools.”
It is worth to note that, “The project is being implemented in cooperation with the State University of Sports and 63 coaches from Rustavi are participating in it. After the course is completed, certificates will be awarded.”
The Sports Museum was opened a few months ago at the initiative of the Rustavi City Hall in order to increase interest in sports among young people. The Mayor of Rustavi while sharing her view with the attendee of event said, we at the Rustavi city hall are always committed to provide best and world class education to our little kids.
Similarly, along with education we also want to produce world class sportsperson from our municipality as well. These players with world class training will be able to complete at international level event.
In such a way we can motivate the young talent to explore their hidden potential in different field. The mayor also expressed hopes that such efforts will also continue in future.
