The inclement weather conditions that have caused a large number of hardships to people in northern areas are still goiing on. This has already caused the road blockages on many roads, due to which traffic has been diverted through the alternative roads.
As per the latest information providedd by the concerned offcials the Road restrictions which ahs been caused by Wednesday’s adverse weather still remain in force on the Gudauri-Kobi stretch of the international Mtskheta-Stepantsminda-Larsi Highway connecting Georgia with Russia in the north parts of country.
As far as the movement of heavy verhicle is concerned the Trailers and semi-trailers have been completly banned from the section till further order.

Speaking on further said that the rest of the traffic on the section of road is being directed without stopping for the convenience of people.
He also said that In addition all types of traffic have been restricted from Mestia Highway in the northwest following a rockfall on the busy section of road.
The concerned official of the Department also said they already had deployed professionals and equipment on the kilometre 73 section of the Zugdidi-Jvari-Mestia-Lasdili Highway for clearing efforts.
As per the department the weather condtion in country is not stable. They also expressed fears that the bad weather condtion may go for few other days. Moerover they also said that the with the full swing rescue operation the the situatuion will return to normal very soon.
People on this occasion also said that they are very thankful to the employees of the concerned department who are working round the clock to make the life normal. They also showed full trust in the employee and said that soon everything would be on track.
On the other hand the weather department again reiterated that people should avoid travelling on these blocked roads until the department makes the necessary recommendation for movement. They also said that it is good to keep a track on the latest weather report and planned their journey as per the weather inputs.
It is to be specifically mentioned that the weather department had already issued many warnings in the past few days. The roads have been blocked because debris came into the centre of the road.
