Tbilisi: The Prosecutor’s Office has booked one person for the murder of his wife. Legal action has been taken after the investigation by the Ministry of Internal Affairs.

It is to be specifically mentioned that the incident of murder has taken place in the capital city of Tbilisi. The accused has killed his wife in aggravated circumstances. He also tries to destroy the evidence to avoid any liability in the hands of law enforcement agencies.

It is to be noted that Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Georgia has conducted an investigation , and has found the accused guilty of the offence. The investigation found that on January 9, in areas of Varketili settlement in Tbilisi, the accused stabbed his wife with a knife.

It was also found that the man had given multiple wounds in different parts of the body to kill her wife. After getting the serious injury, the victim of the crime died in the hospital as a result of her serious injuries.

At the same time, it is also to be understood that the accused has also injured himself to make the situation complicated. He also stabbed himself in the chest and currently undergoing treatment at the hospital.

It is worth mentioning that the officials of the law enforcement agencies arrested the accused on the same day. The enforcement agencies have charged the accused under Article 11 Prima 109 “K” of the Criminal Code of Georgia (intentional murder committed against a family member), which provides a punishment of 16 to 20 years or imprisonment for life.

The official of the prosecutor’s office also said that they are monitoring the progress of the case closely. At the same time, they also said that the office is very much concerned about ensuring the strictest punishment for the accused.
