Tbilisi: The Dutch airline company “Transavia” announced the launch of a flight for Tbilisi International Airport. The move of the airline is being seen as a positive step for the international connectivity of Tbilisi, the capital city of the Republic of Georgia.

It is to be specifically mentioned that the renowned low-cost airline that belongs to the Kingdom of the Netherlands has announced its entry into the Georgian aviation market with the launch of a New flight to the Tbilisi International Airport.

Information in this regard has been recently disclosed by TAV Georgia. It is to be added that as per the latest information the new flight will Commence from the 2024 summer navigation season. The company Transavia will establish a direct flight route between Amsterdam and Tbilisi, the capital cities of both countries respectively.

Moreover, Starting from April 20, the airline is all set to operate flights on this route twice a week every Wednesday and Saturday, which is a big facility for local as well as international air travellers.

It is worth mentioning that being a leading budget airline and the second-largest carrier in the Netherlands Transavia is a distinguished member of the AIR FRANCE KLM group. It serves air travellers and has a unique history which spans over 50 years.

At the same time, the airline boasts for its robust network, offering flights to more than 100 destinations across over 20 countries of the world as well as it successfully transports approximately 9 million passengers annually.
