As the natural disaster has caused the huge damge to many parts of country many municipalitites has also staarted the relief work. The Zestafoni City Hall also started the relief work and has provided the construction materils to the affected famalies.
It is to be specifically mentioned that natural disasters such as strong winds and heavy rain also damage houses’ roofs etc. Zestafoni City Hall took to its social media pages and provided information in this regard. In a Facebook post, it stated that “Zestafoni City Hall donated construction materials to families affected by the natural disaster.”.
Post also mentioned that “In Zestafoni municipality in the village Kvaliti and II Svir the families affected by the storm whose roofs were damaged due to strong winds the municipality hall gave the materials needed for covering”.
Moreover,“ Municipal Mayor Vasil Gvelesiani together with local government representatives got to know the process of foreclosure of houses and met with families affected by the flood. The municipality continues to provide assistance to families affected by heavy rainfall and strong wind recorded on February 6-7,” the Facebook post further added.
The municipal mayor and other visiting representatives also visited the affected houses and talked to the family members. They also express their sympathy and assure of all kinds of assistance to the families.
During the home visit they noticed that many houses had damaged roofs. These damaged roofs made a large number of people homeless overnight. The visiting delegation stated that if future needs arise then more financial assistance will be provided.
On the other hand people also thanked the municipal delegation for the assistance and delivery of relief material. They also demanded that more assistance should be provided as natural disaster has caused a huge destruction to their property.
Meanwhile social meidia users also appreciated the relief work of the city hall for the welfare of affected families.
