Georgia: The Ministry of Culture has announced the winners of thecompetition “Georgian Folklore and Folklore in Regions—promotion with tourist expenses.”
Georgian Ministry of Culture and Sports has announced the winning projects of the competition – “Georgian Folklore and Folklore in Regions – Promotion with Tourist Costs,” these are:
- “Nartebi” tours in regions, performed by the A(A)IP folk dance and song academic ensemble “Nartebi.” The ensemble’s concerts in Tkibuli and Chiatura were funded.
- Concerts of children and young choir ensemble “Kirialesa” in Upper Svaneti – conductor Lela Urushadze. Ensemble’s concerts in the Latali and Mestia areas of Upper Svaneti were funded.
- “Erisioni – Georgian Treasure” – performed by the State Academic Ensemble of Folk Song and Dance of Georgia “Erisioni.” The ensemble’s concerts in Gori and Borjomi were funded.
- Folklore and ethnographic group “Dziriani,” concerts in Adjara – performed by A(A)IP Folklore and Ethnographic Group “Dzirani.” The ensemble’s concerts in Khelvachauri and Keda were funded.
- “Folklore Ensemble at the Service of People of Urmuli—concerts in Regions” was performed by Nugzar Kavtaradze. The ensemble’s concerts in Kvareli and Telavi were funded.
- “This song is Georgia” – Ensemble “Martve” in regions” – Georgian folk song ensemble “Martve”. An ensemble concert in Senaki was funded.
- Folklore concerts of the Opera Theater Soloist Ensemble “Suliko” in the regions were performed by A(a)IP Opera Theater Soloist Ensemble “Suliko.” The ensemble’s concerts in Signagi and Chiatura were funded.
- “Let’s sing together” (Ethnomusicologists’ creative group “Nanina” concert tour in Guria) – Implemented by A(A)IP Ethnomusicologists’ Creative Group “Nanina.” The ensemble’s concerts in Ozurgeti and Chokhatauri were funded.
- “My Good Country” (Anniversary Concerts of Choir-Singers “Didgori” in Georgian Regions)—Implementer of LLC Choir-Singer-Singers Group “Didgori.” The ensemble’s concerts in Bolnis and Aspindza were funded.
- “Egar is 15 years old”—Implementing LLC “Metagorgia” funded the ensemble’s concerts in Poti and Kobuleti.
- Rachi Choreographic Festival – Implemented by A(A)IP Georgian Choreographers Union. The festival will be held in Oni.
- “Zaza Mamaladze – 50 years on stage. “I will stand on your feet, my Georgia” – Executive Vera Kipiani. Concerts in Kutaisi and Sachkhere were funded.
- “Georgia everywhere and always” – Implementer Enriko Janelidze. Concerts in Tskaltubo and Baghdati were funded.
- “A hundred years later, with Pancho” – Implementer Levan Mgaloblishvili. Concerts in Mtskheta and Sagarejo were funded.
- Temo Rshiladze and the band “995” performed a solo concert, “Everything Will Be Fine,” which was financed by Teimuraz Rshiladzes. Concerts in Akhaltsikhe and Borjomi were also funded.
- “Nukri Kapanadze, “Said with music.” Singer Nukri Kapanadze’s concerts to regions” – Implementing LLC “Creative.” The concert in Sachkhere was funded.
- Zurab Loladze performed “Tsutisofeli—cognitive literary-musical composition.” The ensemble “Georgian Voices” concerts in Akhmeta and Tianeti were funded.
- “Youth for Georgia” was implemented by A(A)IP “Culture Forever.” The concert in Kazbegi was funded, and Georgian Estrada performers will participate together with an instrumental group.
- Under the Georgian Sky”—performed by Mariam Aminmedishvili. A concert in Telavi was funded, in which Georgian Estrada performers will participate.
- Regional Tour – “Quartet Four,” for children – implemented by LLC “Vocal Academy.” Concerts in Van and Ambrolauri were financed.
- “Concert of Neka Sebikveradze and Dato Nozadze” – performed by A(A)IP Tbilisi Education and Culture Center. The concert in Zugdidi was funded.
- “Georgian Song to Regions”—the unification of ensembles “Georgian Song.” The concert of groups/ensembles “Shadkatsa,” “Alilo,” “Georgian Voices,” “Theater Quartet,” and “Forte” in Rustavi was funded.
- “Memory score—100” was performed by Lasha Basharuli. The concert of Temur Tatarashvili and Keti Gabisiani in Dusheti was funded.
- The competition budget was 500 000 GEL. The 37th applicant has given the ministry. Thirty-eight concerts with 23 winning projects will be held in different municipalities.
The competition’s budget in 2022 was 500 000 GEL. 53 applicants gave the ministry. 11 projects were financed, and 32 concerts were held in villages or villages of different regions of Georgia. One hundred ninety-two artists participated in the events.
In 2023, the competition budget was 500 000 GEL. Fifty applicants gave the ministry. Twenty-two projects were financed, and 41 concerts were held in villages or villages in different regions of Georgia. Two hundred eighty artists participated in the events.
