Easter day is every year celebrated with great pomp and show in Georgia the Mtskheti municipality helped the needy families on the eve of Easter. The families were provided with food items by the representative of the municipality by visiting their homes.
As per the information shared by the municipality, the administration of the city Hall of Mtskheti municipality handed over food packages to extremely needy families. Some of these families are in Mtskheti’s free canteen, Mukhrani nursing home. The others who received the help include the blind people living in the municipality in connection with the glorious Easter holiday.
The Mayor of Mtskheti Municipality Zurabishvili, was accompanied by his deputy Tamaz Folodashvili, and representatives of the local government. During this visit, they congratulated the beneficiaries on a wonderful Easter holiday in advance and personally handed over the belongings.
It is to be specifically mentioned that in the municipality, 1,600 families received the Easter gift items consisting of various food products. The big carry bags full of daily needs items were brought to the homes of the needy people . At the same time, they hold interaction with the family members of the needy family.
They came to know the problem being faced by the local citizens of the municipality and assured them to address it as soon as possible. The family who received help also extended their gratitude to the local administration for the noble causes. They thanked the mayor of the Municipality for the help and made their day memorable by providing the necessary help to all.
The social media users while reacting to the post of the municipality commented and appreciated the efforts in this direction. The user Joni Tatunashvili commented, “Oh Dear, These are the people.”
The City Hall of the municipality periodically carries out similar charity events and, within the scope of the possibility, helps needy families with different social statuses with food products.
