Keda: Special children’s festival held at a culture center

A special children’s festival was held at the culture centre of Keda Municipality. This memorable event  was organized by the esteemed ‘Momavlis Palitri’ and Kedi Art School, showcasing   commitment to nurturing young talent.

As part of this momentous event, a debut screening of a play was held. This play, a tribute to the works of Nodar Dumbadze, including his renowned stories’ I See the Sun,’ ‘Me, Grandma, Iliko and Hilarion,’ ‘Gypsies,’ ‘Khazarula,’ aimed to introduce our rich Georgian literature to the younger generation, fostering a love for our cultural heritage.

It should be mentioned that the project “Like This Forever” is supported by the Ministry of Education, Culture, and Sports of the Autonomous Republic of Adjara’s free creative grant competition.

Otar Kharadze, the chairman of the social issues commission of the Kedi municipality council, attended the special children’s theatrical performance. Others present on the occasion included Ekaterine Kajaia, the head of the education, culture, sports, tourism, youth affairs, monument protection service, and local self-government representatives.

 

The children dressed in traditional dresss gave a captivating performance for the participants, including many children’s parents.The items presented by children also included the musical performance, whereas some presented their choreography skills. The beautifully dressed children participated in the catwalk for the entertainment of attendees of the event.

The children’s acting was excellent, and they played their respective roles very professionally. The acting and role combination were perfectly matched, making the performance wonderful.The stage was beautifully decorated with colorful lights, flowers, balloons, etc., which added to the beauty of the event.

While addressing the participants, the event organizer thanked them for their esteem presence. They also assure to hold these events in the future. The parents of the children also expressed their happiness and said that events like these play a great role in exploring the hidden talents of children.
