The non-government organisation “Helping Hands” is all set to implement an educational cum volunteering project. This will be implemented with cooperation of the LEPL “Youth Agency” and with the support of the Adigeni City Hall.
As per the office bearers NGO the main objective of this project is to strengthen young people across Georgia. This will also support their initiatives and popularize volunteering activities which can be useful for extending helping hands to other needly people of society as well.
The officials Facebook page of the helping hands the NGO behind this project contain information about who can participate in this competition and other criteria. As per information publish by NGO on their social media platforms any young person aged between 16-29 living in Georgia can participate in this program.
He must be eager to o gain knowledge and experience on youth volunteering issues, as well as plan and implement effective volunteer activities in their municipalities. The interested people need to fill a google form. The link to fill google form for participation is also available on official Facebook page of NGO.
The attendees of this event can avail multiple benefits also. This is also to worth to note that the people after completing educational sessions will prepare an action plan. They can also avail the services of volunteer initiative groups and receive specialist support for their volunteer activities also.
It is also to be noted that with support and considering the needs of the municipality, volunteer projects will be implemented together with young people. In this program many educational meeting were also held.
The Educational sessions will be held in self-governing cities according to the regions and working meetings will be held in a hybrid mode with the involvement of “Helping Hand” specialists.
Those wishing to participate in the competition must fill out the application form by January 25 of this year. Moreover the project implementation days are January 31 to March 31, 2025.
