Georgia: The Head of the Department of Relations with Regions of the Government Administration of Georgia, Nika Tkemaladze, hosted a meeting with the State Trustees of Georgia on February 20, 2025, Thursday.
The mayor of the Kvemo Kartli region, Giorgi Dokturishvili shared glimpses of their meeting on his official Facebook page on February 20, 2025. Along with photographs, he also shared the details about the meeting.
The discussion highlighted the points for making various improvements in the different regional states of the country. This will help in the overall development of the nation, benefitting all the citizens and the residents of Georgia.
According to the details provided by the Mayor, it should be noted that, during the working meeting held in the government administration, the head of the department of regional relations focused on ongoing projects in the municipalities and being implemented.
The PRO head for regional Governments, Nika Tkemaladze noted that with the coordination of central and local authorities, a number of projects are underway and planned in all regions of the countries.
State trustees and municipal mayors maintain active communication with the local population, which is crucial in the planning and execution of each project, according to Nika Tkemaladze. “Citizen care is our government’s priority, and there are several projects across the country, be it social, infrastructural, cultural, or educational aspects that are tailored to citizens and their needs,” he said.
It is noteworthy that the state trustees along with the head of the department, had a talk on the present situation in the regions and also found ways to resolve the issues and eliminate the needs.
According to the head of the Regional Relations Department, similar meetings with state trustees will continue actively in the future. The working meeting was attended by David Kacharava, the deputy head of the Department of Relations with the regions and the staff of the department.
