Georgia:Â Rector of the State Conservatory, named after Vano Sarajishvili, Nino Kasradze, was appointed Deputy Rector of the Conservatory on April 1, 2024, by Giorgi Vachnadze.
Nino Kasradze graduated from the Vano Sarajishvili State Conservatory of Tbilisi with piano in 1999. He then took an assistant-internship course (solo piano) until 2003. In 2011, he received a PhD degree in executive fields.
At different times, he was a teacher of Zakaria Paliashvili Central Music School’s “Decade of Talents” and the piano departments of Evgeny Mikeladze Central Music School. Since 2007, he has been doing educational activities at the State Conservatory named after Vano Sarajishvili. In 2023, he was a deputy director of “Talent Decade”.
Nino Kasradze is the laureate of several international competitions (first prize and special prize as the best foreign participant) Harmoniae at the Rome International Competition of Pianists; First Prize and Special Prize at the XV International Competition of the Best Pianist Musicians-Performers of Eastern Europe Citta di Barletta prize; Finalist Diploma C. At the XX International Competition of Cantu Piano Concerts; First Prize At the IV International Competition of Markopulo Pianists).
Nino Kasradze is the author of the books “Sunny night melodies” and “Methods of teaching how to play piano”. In 2008, he was a research intern in Germany (Munich, German Academic Exchange Service DAAD).
Nino Kasradze founded the regional competition of Georgian music schools in 2011. He is a permanent member of the competition jury and composer of the methodological program. In 2021, he was a member of the jury of the Eva and Joseph Kogan International Musician-Performers Competition (Almaty, Kazakhstan).Â
The musician is also the founding director of A(A)IP “Academy of Culture and Education 2020” and a member of the board of the Georgian Musical Society. In 2022, the Central Music School’s orchestra of teachers (“Decade of Talents”) was formed.
