In the municipality of Oni, a working meeting was held between the heads of the Agency of Protected Areas and representatives of the local government on issues of development of the Rachi National Park.
The meeting gave special attention to the importance of developing protected areas, improving tourist infrastructure, and the active participation of local people in ongoing processes. It was noted that in order to inform society, information meetings are planned in the near future.
The working meeting discussed planned infrastructure projects by the Protected Areas Agency, including the construction of the trail network and its development. This initiative will significantly contribute to the economic empowerment of the local population, creating new opportunities for small businesses to develop. In particular, locals will be able to offer visitors a variety of tourist services such as horseback riding tours, guided services, transportation, and local products.
At the meeting, it was emphasized that the development of protected areas will play an important role in strengthening ecotourism and the expansion of recreational spaces in the region.
