The Ministry of Defense of Russia blames Ukraine for the attack. According to them, it was a deliberate provocation from the side of Ukraine, and they attacked the isolator with the HIMARS missile system received from America.

Russian authorities, propagandist media RIA Novosti, based on information from the self-recognized government of Donetsk, states that the number of dead has increased to 53, and the number of injured has increased to 75.
