Georgia: With the support of the Ministry of Education, Science and Youth of Georgia, a summary event of the project “Establishment of a Youth Regional Platform in Guria Region” was held in Ozurgeti on Sunday, April 13, 2025.
The Ozurgeti City Hall shared glimpses of the event on its Official Facebook page on Sunday. The Ministry also shared a small note about the event along with the photographs.
According to the details provided by the Ozurgeti City Hall, it should be noted that the opening of the event was held by the Minister of Education, Science and Youth Alexander Tsuladze.
Along with the Georgian Education Minister, the State Trustee Giorgi Urushadze, the Mayor of Ozurgeti Municipality Avtandil Talakvadze, the Chairman of the Ozurgeti City Council David Rakhia, the Mayor of Lanchkhuti Municipality Aleksandre Sarishvili, the Chairman of Lanchkhuta City Council Besik Tabidze and the Head of the Youth Agency Vakhtang Baakash Wilma also attended the summary event of the project.
The delegates spoke to the youths present at the Guria Youth Platform Summit and shared their perspective on the project “Establishment of a Youth Regional Platform in Guria Region.” They also congratulated the young people on their achievement, awarded them certificates, and wished them the best of luck in all their future endeavors.
The goal of the project was to promote the personal and professional development of young people through informal education. Also, functional strengthening of youth spaces in the municipalities of the Guria region.
It is noted that the project is the winner of the grant competition of the SP Youth Agency of the Ministry of Education, Science and Youth of Georgia and was implemented by the organization of the “International Laboratory of Education”. More than 300 young people living in the municipalities of Lanchkhuti and Ozurgeti participated in it.
