Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze visited Dubai with his delegation. He has attended the world government summit there.
PM during his participation there also addressed summit also which was held to discuss global economic issues. PM met with Kuwaiti counterpart Ahmed Al-Abdullah Al-Ahmed Al-Sabah on sidelines of summit also.
The PM led delegation from Georgia also includes the Minister of Foreign Affairs Maka Botchorishvili, Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development Levan Davitashvili, Head of GD Government A
dministration Levan Zhorzholiani and GD Minister of Justice Anri Okhanashvili.
GD Prime Minister while speaking on agenda of summit said, Georgia is following many policies by keeping in mind the effective governance and prudent policies. He also raised the issues of global connectivity in this important world level summit having participation of many countries also.
According to Georgian PM his country can play a big role to bridge gap between Europe and middle east as well as countries of central and east Asia. Moreover, as per PM Georgia is the only link which can for development of data connectivity.
At the same time the issues which were touched by Georgian PM includes low rate of inflation and PM stressed, “The improvement in production and potential GDP can be ensured with strong economic growth by implementing all necessary measures.”
On the other hand, the ministry of economy and sustainable development added that, this Georgian and Kuwaiti prime minster during very significant bilateral meeting have agreed for creation of a working group. This newly created group will work to address issues related to both public and private sector also.
Notably over 6000 attendees have participated in this global level summit. These participants also include the head of states, international organisations and private sector representatives.
All the attendees have shared their valuable views and experiences that can be utilised for addressing the present-day global challenges. The attendees of this meeting agreed to increased cooperation with each other’s also.
