Georgia: The Government of Georgia hosted its first 2025 meeting on January 20, 2025, under the chairmanship of the Georgian Prime Minister, Irakli Kobakhidze.

He states about the pre-planned projects which will be implemented in the country in 2025, So citizens have to work hard to ensure that those projects are implemented in a way, which is beneficial for both the government and the citizens of Georgia.
In the meeting, PM Irakli Kobakhidze also responded to the inauguration of US President Donald Trump and noted that this was a turning point for America. Donald Trump has announced an ambitious plan to defeat the “Deep State“, the successful implementation of which will be crucial for normalizing Georgia-USA relations.
According to the PM’s note, “2025 will be very important from an internal political perspective too. As he mentioned, they need to deliver a decisive blow to the radicals in the country. Radicalism and liberal fascism must end in their country. This is indispensable for the country to continue developing smoothly and achieve all its national goals.
The Prime Minister also expressed his special gratitude towards the Georgian President Mikheil Kavelashvili for pardoning 613 prisoners. He also appreciated the contribution of various Georgian Ministers.
The conversation also touched on the economic indicators of the last year and PM noted that the government continues to take care of economic development with maximum intensity. The year 2024 ended with a record indicator in the field of tourism as well and the revenue from tourism exceeded $ 4.4 billion.
