Samterida: Irakli Kobakhidze, the Prime Minister of Georgia has attended a traditional event in Samtredia Municipality to hand over keys of houses to needy families. The Mayor of capital city Tbilisi was also present in this occasion.
Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze himself shared glimpses of event on his social media handles. The prime minister Irakli Kobakhidze on his official Facebook page stated, “
I attended a traditional event in Samtredia, where several families were given apartments.”
The Prime Minister further added, At this event I spoke about the importance of the charity event and the tradition, the foundation of which was laid by Tbilisi Mayor Kakha Kaladze. Along with other key speakers, the Prime Minster of Georgia also addressed the attendees. According to him, Since 2016, I have been coming in Samtredia on this day every year, which is very joyful for me. Moreover I did not break this tradition this year either.
PM in addition said, today coincides with the implementation of a very important charity event and several families were given apartments today. I congratulated each of them on this extraordinary gift.
Kakha Kaladze handed over the keys to the house to a single father, Gocha Adeishvili who is raising three children and has not had a home before. At the event two more families received residential houses as gifts from the company “Archi” and one of the businessmen.
Large number of social media user while reacting to this Facebook post also commented their best wishes for all those who received keys of the new houses also. On Facebook user namely Cici Kukava while commenting on social media post of PM wrote, “Good luck, we are also watching with hope for Kakhi and I believe that my family will also be saved. Tbilisi has the best mayor Kakhi Kaladze, be happy. Progress 41 and good luck to our team.”
