The rural development agency of Georgia is participating in Berlin International Green Week in Germany. The annual green week festival is being attended by agency with support of the ministry of environment protection and agriculture.
The Berlin International Green Week is an annual international trade fair held in the Federal Republic of Germany in Berlin city. The fair is usually known as the“green week” among the stakeholders associated with agriculture sector.
On the occasion of this trade fair the products by the ten Georgian companies were displayed for visitors. The companies have been showing their own agri-food products to the visitors.
The following companies presented their products at the Georgian stand:

- Teliani Valley
- Georgian Natural Products
- TMT – TMT
- ALALI
- Chelti Winery
- Kula
- Torelis Winery
- Meisterbrau Brewery
- HOBY
The other Georgian products were presented at the exhibition included the juices, lemonade, nuts, wine, alcoholic beverages, honey, canned fruit and vegetable products. Guests of the Georgian stand also had the opportunity to taste Georgian dishes.
It is noteworthy that along with the rural development agency the Georgian National Tourism Administration also participated in the exhibition. The representative of the national tourism administration by participating in this event have introduced visitors to Georgian tourism products and destinations.
The opening of the exhibition was attended by Giorgi Pantsulaia, First Deputy Director of the Rural Development Agency, Giorgi Jibladze, Deputy Director, and Ani Abuladze. Moreover, the acting ambassador extraordinary and plenipotentiary of Georgia to the Federal Republic of Germany were also present a at inauguration ceremony
The “Green Week” is one of the largest exhibitions in the world, covering the agricultural, food and horticultural sectors. This year more than 1,400 local and international companies from more than 50 countries participated in the exhibition.
The office bearers of rural development agency and Georgian national tourism administration while expressing happiness said that they are happy to see huge response from public to Georgian agro-products and tourism sector.
