The Georgian weather department has released another report on the expected weather. The report covers the weather forecast for the next three days, from December 31, 2025, to January 2, 2026. Notably, until January 3, cold and rainy weather will be maintained in Georgia.
In Tbilisi on December 31, a small snowfall may be celebrated at the end of the day, and snow is expected from the afternoon of January 1 to the morning of January 2. The air temperature will be 0-2 at night and +2, +4 degrees during the day.
In coastal areas (Batumi, Kobuleti, Anaklia, Poti): Precipitation is expected, mostly in the form of snow. The air temperature at night will be 0,+2, during the day +5, +7 degrees.
In the lower regions of western Georgia (Zestafoni, Kutaisi, Samtredia, Zugdidi, Martvili, Ozurgeti), precipitation is expected, mostly in the form of snow. The air temperature at night will be 0-2 degrees, during the day, +4, +6 degrees.
In the mountainous regions of western Georgia (Ambrolauri, Oni, Tsageri, Shovi, Chiatura, Sachkhere, Khulo, Ricoti Pass), snow and blizzards are expected. The air temperature at night will be 5-7 degrees, during the day 0,-2 degrees.
In the highland regions of Western Georgia (Mestia, Bakhmaro), Snow and blizzards are expected. The air temperature at night will be -8,-10, in the afternoon -3,-5 degrees.
In Kartavi (Rustavi, Bolnis, Marneuli, Gargabani, Gori, Tskhinvali): Some snow is expected. Air temperature at night -2, -4, in Shida Kartli -7,-9, and during the day +2, +4 degrees will be recorded.
In Kakheti (Sagarejo, Telavi, Gurjaani, Signaghi, Lagodekhi, Kvareli, Akhmeta, Dedoplistskaro): Snow is expected in some places. The air temperature at night will be -3, -5, and during the day +2, +4 degrees.
In the mountainous regions of Eastern Georgia (Akhaltsikhe, Borjomi, Dusheti, Tianeti, Pasanauri), Snow and blizzards are expected. The air temperature at night will be -10, -12, and in the afternoon, 0, -2 degrees.
In the highland regions of Eastern Georgia (Akhalkalaki, Tsalka, Bakuriani, Gudauri, Omalo), Snow and blizzards are expected. The air temperature at night will be -13,-15 in the afternoon, -3,-5 degrees.
