As of today, the water supply and sewerage systems in Khashuri are in need of an update, causing inconvenience for the locals. The city currently experiences water supply for only a few hours each day. However, upon the completion of this large-scale project, approximately 30,000 residents of Khashuri will enjoy the benefits of a 24-hour water supply and a well-organized sewer infrastructure.
The Khashuri water supply and sewerage project, a significant undertaking, is being implemented with substantial financial support from the French Agency for International Development (AFD). This support has played a crucial role in accelerating the project’s progress and ensuring its successful implementation. It’s worth noting that the Khashuri Municipality Hall will be responsible for the project’s street planning, and as the water project is implemented, it will gradually improve the road infrastructure.
