The rehabilitation work is continuing and in full swing. The rehabilitation of the new cultural house is expected to be completed very soon in village shroma.
The work is being rehabilitated under the leadership of the National Agency for the Protection of Cultural Heritage, the department responsible for rehabilitating cultural heritage monuments worldwide.
It is worth noting that the works started this year according to the project prepared in 2023. The agency allocated 2,565,070 GEL for rehabilitation.
At this stage, the dismantling of the old chairs on the ground floor and on the tiers has been completed. Moreover  the amortized floor has been removed  and a new wooden structure has been installed.
A wooden floor has also been laid. At the same time  the glass on the left side of the audience hall, where the iron-concrete frame of the two-story building is cast was removed.
The project envisages the complete rehabilitation of the hall, particularly restoration and conservation works of decorative elements and painting, roof reconstruction, facade rehabilitation, replacement of doors and windows, installation of engineering networks and devices, and yard landscaping.
Yukon and Company LLC are executing the works, the winner of the electronic tender, based on the contract on state procurement signed on February 23, 2024.
It is worth noting that the rehabilitation of the House of Culture in the village of Sargheti Municipality in October 2021 was decided after the Minister of Culture and Sports of Georgia  Tea Tsulukiani, visited the dilapidated houses of Culture during her visit to the Ozurgeti Municipality.
Notably  the  House of Culture of the Village of Labour, which has been a cultural heritage monument since July 3, 2020  was built in 1956. The building has a facade decorated with decorative elements.
The hall of the House of Culture is distinguished by its wealth of artistic elements. The main artistic composition of the house, which has been built in the style of socialist realism, is large-scale depicting the life scenes of the peasants against the background of the sky.
