The rural development agency of Georgia has attended “FRUIT LOGISTICA 2025”. The world-famous event namely “FRUIT LOGISTICA 2025” which was held from February 5 to 7, 2025 in Berlin, Germany.
At this event the organizational issues of Georgian blueberry export were discussed during a meeting which was held within the framework of the international exhibition “FRUIT LOGISTICA 2025”
It is worth to note that at the same time during the meeting with representatives of the berry producing company “Wonderland Farmers” many Georgian representatives were presents also. This was also attended by Natalia Kharatishvili, Deputy Director of the Rural Development Agency, Shota Tsukoshvili, Director of the Georgian Blueberry Producers Association and representatives of blueberry producing companies of Georgia as well.
“The Rural Development Agency supports farmers and entrepreneurs at all stages of the agricultural value chain, both in the production of high-quality Georgian agri-food products and in increasing their access to export markets. It is precisely this support that is the result of the growing dynamics of Georgian blueberry production and export,” said Natalia Kharatishvili, Deputy Director of the Rural Development Agency.
On the other hand, according to Shota Tsukoshvili, Director of the Georgian Blueberry Producers Association, participation in the international exhibition was a good opportunity for blueberry producing companies, as important meetings were held with buyers, where issues of selling the 2025 harvest were discussed.
Notably 8 Georgian companies, including 6 blueberry producers, participated in the international exhibition “FRUIT LOGISTICA 2025” organized by the Rural Development Agency in Berlin, Federal Republic of Germany.
The “FRUIT LOGISTICA 2025” is known as the most important trade fair related to import and export of fresh fruits across the world. At these three days long event the world famous companied and business owner associated with fruit industry participated and discusses challenges to fruit industry also.
The officials of the Georgian rural development agency expressed hopes that this bilateral and multilateral meeting will benefits to Georgian fruit industry.
