Georgia: An evening dedicated to the 100th anniversary of Erosi Manjgaladze was held in Rustaveli National Theater on March 18, 2025, Tuesday. The event was held with the promotion of the Ministry of Culture.

The Ministry of Culture of Georgia posted the snippets of the event on its official Facebook page on the same day along with some information related to the event.

According to the information shared by the Culture Ministry of Georgia, it should be noted that the Jubilee anniversary event was attended by the Minister of Culture of Georgia, Tinatin Rukhadze and Minister of Sports Shalva Gogoladze.

It should be noted that memorable episodes from the work of a great Georgian actor and sports commentator were revived on the anniversary evening. Viewers saw footage from the actor’s past and heard unknown stories. Songs that the audience particularly loved were performed and choreographical numbers were presented. Robert Sturua remembered Eros Manjgaladze’s work.

Erosi Manjgaladze produced intriguing faces for movies and performed in several character parts in Georgian theater. The actor will make significant contributions to the growth of radio theater and television theater, which are currently under his name. For his work promoting theater on television and sports radio journalism, the Erosi Manjgaladze Awards have been established.

The evening was being led by Nikoloz Tsulukidze, a theater guru. Photographer Ana Ninua, composer David Tavadze, choreographer Gigi Loria, director Tinatin Kordzadze, and videographer Gvantsa Meparishvili.

Murman Jinoria, Nana Pachuashvili, Marina Kakhiani, Nanuli Sarajishvili, Zurab Kipshidze, vocalist Neka Sebiskveradze, and the “Theater Quartet” were among the actors that took part.

Notably, the project was implemented with the support of the Ministry of Culture of Georgia and the City of Tbilisi Municipality Hall.
