Rustavi, Georgia: The Rustavi Municipality City Hall started the 9th stage of the project “Manage Your City.” This youth project aims to involve young people in the management of Rustavi and familiarize them with the specifics of the municipality’s work.
The Mayor of Rustavi Municipality of Georgia, Nino Latsabidze met with the head of the “Youth Education and Career Development Center” Aneli Chkhartishvili, and the participants of the 9th stage of the project. A very productive working meeting was held between them.
It is worth noting that Rustavi Municipality in Georgia is focused on increasing citizen participation in local governance, particularly in improving air quality. This is part of their commitment to open government, aligning with their policy objectives and strategic vision.
The Mayor of Rustavi Nino Latsabidze addressed the participants of the meeting with a welcome speech. In her speech, she noted, “
Manage your city” is one of the successful projects for young people, not only for information but also for their employment.

According to her note, it should be noted that the Rustavi City Hall started the 9th stage of the project “Manage Your City”. The Rustaveli project will be implemented in order to engage and employ young people in the work of the municipality,

It is also noteworthy that “
Rule Your City” is a student internship program. Enrollment in the program is done by online registration and the internship process in various city hall jobs lasts for a month.
At the moment, in Rustavi City Hall, more than 30 young people are employed participating in different stages of the project.
In additin, it was noted that the
Rustavi City Hall implements several projects to promote youth. Since 2022, 10,000 Rustavi students have benefited from the tuition funding program, 1500 successful Rustavi youth athletes have benefited from a scholarship program and art education, and 1400 Rustavi children have been funded.
In various youth programs, over 3 years, up to 5000 young people from Rustavi have participated.
