Rustavi, Georgia: The digital development space of Rustavi gives young people new opportunities for employment and career growth. In the digital development of Rustavi, a new course in artificial intelligence was introduced.
The youth involved in the AI program were met by Rustavi Mayor Nino Latsabidze, Rustavi delegate Irakli Shatakishvili, and Parliamentarian Aleksandre Dalakishvili.
The Mayor of Rustavi, Nino Latsabidze, shared the glimpses of the meeting on her official Facebook Page on September 25, 2025, Thursday. The Mayor also shared a small note along with its glimpses, in which she mentioned the program and its benefits to the youth.
She mentioned, “The digital development space of Rustavi gives young people new opportunities. Today we started a special course for them on the use of artificial intelligence.”
“It is a good fact that there is a lot of interest in this course and digital development space programs in general. Rustavi’s digital development space provides new opportunities for employment and career growth to our youth, Nino Latsabidze added.
According to the Rustavi Mayor, it should be noted that the new AI course is an intensive program that aims to help young people gain AI skills and hands-on experience.
Rustavi youth at the Digital Development Center will learn about the basics of artificial intelligence, history and stages of development, key aspects of AI, learn how to build artificial intelligence models, and work with the Rustavi municipality on the digital transformation of services.
35 young people will take the artificial intelligence course at the first stage. Participants were selected through the registration link and afterwards as a result of motivational interviews.
The training course will be held by representatives of the Nebula IA hub, which is based in the multifunctional center. In Rustavi, the municipal space for digital development was opened in July on the initiative of Rustavi Mayor Nino Latsabidze.
The new space will combine three main destinations: digital transformation of municipal services, smart city, education center, and user-friendly co-working zones. The project includes educational components and aims to develop the knowledge and skills of young people.
